NHS 111 is a free to call telephone service  in Yorkshire, to call if you need medical help fast, but are not in a life-threatening situation - available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for people who are not sure if they need to go to A&E, do not have a GP to call, or generally need reassurance and advice. Just dial 111.

Community Midwives

The community midwife runs an antenatal clinic at Rosegarth on Thursday morning and at Siddal Children's Centre on Tuesday morning. She is based at the Children's Centre, Lightowler Road, telephone 360336, or she can be contacted via the midwife-led unit at the Calderdale Royal Hospital, telephone 224417.

Community Nurses

Patients confined to their homes and needing nursing assistance may arrange for one of our attached community nurses to call. They can be contacted at Horne Street Health Centre: telephone 361 374.

Health Visitors

We have a team of health visitors attached to our practice.  They are responsible for most of the development assessments on the children in our practice but also have some responsibility for the care of the elderly. They can be contacted at: St John's Health Centre on telephone 307347/307312.
